On the occasion of highlighting the innovative research of the NEW-MINE project, one of our ESRs, Patricia Rabelo Monich, was featured in a special edition of the newsletter of the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova where she presented her research on “Up-cycling of Vitreous Residues from Thermal Conversion of Landfill Waste in Highly Porous Glass-Ceramics”.

Patricia started her research on this topic in December 2016 under the guidance of prof. Enrico Bernardo, with the help also of prof. Paolo Colombo. One year later, she was featured in a special edition of the newsletter of the Department of Industrial Engineering (‘DIInforma’) of the University of Padova. She will present the first findings of her research during the upcoming symposium on Enhanced Landfill Mining (5-6 February 2018 in Mechelen – Belgium).
